SMD connector in wire-to-board connector

SMD connectors are divided into straight SMT connector and right angle SMT connector.

SMT generally mounts surface mount components without leads or short leads. The solder paste needs to be printed on the circuit board first, then mounted by the placement machine, and then fixed by reflow soldering.

The soldering temperature of the SMD connector is around 260°for 3-5s. SMD connector is combined with insulation and pins.

Material of insulation is PA6T, PA9T or LCP, which are all high temperature resistant materials.

Material of pin is brass or phosphor bronze.

Plating of pin surface is gold plating, tin plating or half gold half tin plating.

Aiming of the pin plating is to resist oxidation, improve the conductivity, and increase the transmission speed of the signal.
